Job Description:
- Source and procure store equipment, tools, spare parts, and consumables in line
with operational requirements.
Obtain quotations from suppliers and evaluate pricing, quality, and delivery
timelines.
Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers to achieve cost efficiencies.
Identify and develop reliable suppliers and maintain strong vendor relationships.
Prepare and process purchase orders in accordance with company procedures.
Ensure accuracy of specifications, quantities, and delivery timelines on all orders.
Track orders and follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
Maintain an updated supplier database.
Evaluate supplier performance based on quality, cost, and delivery reliability.
Resolve supplier-related issues such as delays, discrepancies, or quality
concerns.
Work closely with Store Clerk and workshop teams to understand stock
requirements.
Monitor stock levels and initiate procurement to avoid shortages.
Ensure procured items meet required specifications and standards.
Monitor procurement costs and contribute to cost-saving initiatives.
Ensure purchases are aligned with approved budgets.
Compare supplier offers to obtain best value without compromising quality.
Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and procedures.
Maintain accurate procurement records, including quotations, purchase orders,
and invoices.
Support audits by providing required procurement documentation.
Liaise with stores to ensure goods received match purchase orders.
Assist in resolving discrepancies between orders and deliveries.

Qualification/Work Experience:
- Diploma or Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field.
Minimum 2–4 years' experience in a procurement or buying role (preferably in a
workshop/logistics environment).
Knowledge of procurement procedures and vendor management.
Skills & Competencies
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Good analytical and decision-making abilities.
High level of integrity and attention to detail.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and procurement/inventory systems.
