President Hakainde Hichilema has made several high-level
appointments to strengthen Zambia’s global representation and domestic
governance.
According to a press release issued by State House, Press
& Public Relations Office Signed by Clayson Hamasaka, Chief Communications
Specialist at State House, and bears the seal of the Republic of Zambia.
The President has named the following as Ambassadors
Plenipotentiary and Extraordinary Lt. General Sitali Dennis Alibuzwi –
Ambassador to the Federal Republic of Brazil, Brigadier General Wilson C. Tembo
– Ambassador to the Republic of Zimbabwe and Mr. Mahuba Wesley Hazemba – Ambassador to the State
of Israel
These appointments reflect the President’s continued use of
institutional and security-sector experience in diplomacy, leveraging
leadership to strengthen Zambia’s bilateral relations with key global partners.
Mr. Shadreck Mbewe has been appointed Commissioner of Lands,
a critical role in managing Zambia’s natural resource base and driving land
policy reforms.
President Hichilema extended his congratulations to the
appointees and wished them God’s blessings as they take on their new
responsibilities.
