Luapula Province Permanent Secretary Mrs. Prudence Chinama has directed all government ministries in the province to fully implement the National Policy on Anti-Corruption (NPAC).
Delivering her remarks through Mansa District Commissioner
Mrs. Ireen Chikotola at an NPAC dissemination workshop, Mrs. Chinama emphasized
that ministries such as Health, Education, Agriculture, Community Development,
and Local Government must integrate NPAC mandates into their annual work plans
and budgets, with quarterly compliance reports submitted to her office.
“Failure is not an option,” she declared, underscoring the urgency of institutionalizing anti-corruption measures.
Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) Luapula Regional Manager Mr. Roy Kakoma echoed the call for collective action, urging all stakeholders to embrace the national slogan:
“A Corruption-Free Zambia Begins with Me.”
He reaffirmed the ACC’s commitment to working with ministries, civil society, and communities to ensure NPAC delivers tangible impact.
