Chief Inspector Keagan Phiri has been formally appointed as the new Head Coach of Nkwazi Football Club, succeeding Aggrey Chiyangi, who recently joined Green Buffaloes FC. Held at Zambia Police Headquarters, the unveiling ceremony featured the launch of the club’s official jersey for the upcoming FAZ/MTN Super League season. Phiri, a lifelong Nkwazi man, has served as assistant coach under four previous managers, including Chris Kaunda, Dennis Makinka, Osward Mutapa, and Aggrey Chiyangi1. His promotion reflects years of dedication, tactical growth, and a deep understanding of the club’s culture. “This is not a ceremonial role; it is a leadership position with clear expectations, success, discipline, and visibility,” said Inspector General Graphel Musamba, urging Phiri to inspire and unify the squad.
