The Zambia National Service (ZNS) has officially suspended Sergeant Rhodah Njobvu following the alleged production and circulation of an obscene and indecent video in which she featured. In a statement signed by ZNS Chief of Public Relations and Liaison Brigadier General Mable Mulenga-Nyone, confirmed the suspension is intended to pave the way for police investigations and possible prosecution. “She will not be officially performing ZNS duties and will be placed on half pay until the determination of her case by the courts of law,” the statement reads. Disciplinary procedures to proceed following outcome of legal case with Suspension date starting 28 July 2025 as Investigation being are conducted jointly by ZNS and Zambia Police and Sergeant Njobvu placed on half pay during suspension. Gen. Nyone underscored that the ZNS is commitment to upholding the moral, ethical, and lawful conduct expected of all its personnel, stressing that it will communicate the results of internal disciplinary proceedings once investigations conclude.
