TEACHER FOUND DEAD UNDER SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCES

Polce in Zimba District have opened an investigation into the sudden and unnatural death of Mr. Mutale Enny, a 28-year-old teacher at Chilaba Primary School, whose body was discovered in his residence under unclear circumstances.

According to Deputy Commanding Officer Moono F. Namalongo, confirmed that Mr. Enny was found lying motionless on his bedroom floor, face up, at the school’s Teachers’ Compound around 14:00 hours.

The discovery was made by Head Teacher Mr. Takaiza Dipa John and Deputy Head Teacher Mr. Muya Gilbert, who had grown concerned after Mr. Enny missed work for two consecutive days.

Mr. Muya visited Mr. Enny on July 21 and found him intoxicated, consuming a local alcoholic beverage known as First Choice

After continued absence Mr. John and Mr. Muya returned the following day and found the door unlocked, with Mr. Enny unresponsive inside

The Incident was reported at 15:35 hours at Zimba Police Post

The Case classified as sudden and unnatural death with No signs of illness or foul play.

Police have urged the public for any information that could assist in the investigation. The cause of death remains undetermined pending further inquiry.
